Steven was born in Staten Island, NY in 1960. He joined the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority as a conductor in 1983. He continued to work as a Train Service Supervisor (TSS) until his retirement in 2015 after 32 years of service. He still lives in Old Bridge, NJ with his partner, Donna, and their dog, Freddy.
